Who This Book Is For

HOTEL MYSTIQUE isn't JUST a beautiful collection of black and white photographs, but also a CELEBRATION of personal freedom. Most of the women I had the honor of photographing for this project are not professional models. They have kids, families and careers. For many, this was their first time being photographed nude. It takes courage to 'bare it all' in front of the camera. By doing so, they overcame not only their fears, but many experienced healing as well. Society has come a long way over the past 50 years when it comes to the acceptance of nudity, but so many of us still feel shame in one form or another when it comes to our bodies. No matter how attractive or beautiful someone may think we are, most of us can't see our own beauty like we should be able to.

So, this book is not just for art and photography lovers, but also for anyone who supports personal freedom and empowerment - regardless of age, height, size or shape.

About The Author

Bryce Millikin is a published and award winning photographer from Mansfield, Ohio. Aside from his love for photography, Bryce is also an actor, and multi-instrumental musician, composer and producer with 2 self-produced albums, and a third on the way. A 3rd generation entrepreneur, he created and published his own community magazine in 2011, and has used his creative abilities & business knowledge to help start and launch several small businesses for friends & clients. Bryce feels happiest when he knows he has helped someone in some way, and he has made it his life's mission to help as many people as possible.
